About Eagle & Child

Eagle & Child is a name associated with collaboration, creativity, and complexity.

In Oxford, the Eagle & Child pub was the meeting place of the Inklings, a writers’ group that included renowned thinkers and authors like J.R.R. Tolkien and C.S. Lewis. It was at another Eagle & Child pub in Cambridge where Francis Crick first announced that he and James Watson had discovered ‘the secret of life’—the structure of DNA.

Similarly, our Eagle & Child has a mission to make a positive impact—both for our client partners locally and on projects in resource-poor contexts. We understand the importance of courageously addressing complex challenges, whether in business or in society, and have structured Eagle & Child as a ‘For Purpose’ business accordingly.

That’s why Eagle & Child donates some of our profit while also providing ongoing pro bono expertise from our consultants to support international humanitarian aid and development projects. A sample of projects we have been privileged to support include projects at AIC Kijabe Hospital, Soddo Christian Hospital, New Sight Congo, Sanivation, and Rift Valley Academy.

By partnering with us, you are helping to create a ripple effect of positive change, ensuring that our collective success benefits those who need it most.
